Prescription principle

A complete manufacturer-configured set.

The tender defines project performance, interfaces, services, acceptance, and maintenance. ALUVIA retains responsibility for the detailed internal composition of the selected ECOFLOW set.

CCTP-style clause

Recommended technical prescription.

Complete ALUVIA ECOFLOW wastewater treatment set

The works shall include the design confirmation, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, operator instruction, performance verification, and mandatory maintenance of a complete ALUVIA ECOFLOW wastewater treatment set.

The system capacity shall be selected from the standard ECOFLOW 25, ECOFLOW 50, ECOFLOW 100, or ECOFLOW 250 range according to the project flow, peak activity, wastewater characteristics, installation constraints, and required outlet. ECOFLOW 25 is intended for small restaurants and requires a correctly sized and maintained grease trap upstream; its optional Weekend Peak configuration supports activity up to 100 PE and is identified separately in the commercial offer. Where greater capacity is required, standard ECOFLOW systems shall be installed in parallel.

The proposed set shall provide a complete biological treatment pathway using ALUVIAMEDIA activation, final polishing appropriate to the project objective, safe control and monitoring, and accessible sampling provisions. The set shall include a smart Wi-Fi controller for pH, electrical conductivity (EC), and selected operational status, with connected visibility and configurable alerts. Online operational monitoring shall not replace the agreed laboratory compliance testing. The final internal composition remains under the responsibility of ALUVIA WATER LTD.

The contractor shall state the intended discharge or reuse route and shall commission the system under representative operating conditions. Acceptance shall be based on the agreed sampling and laboratory test plan and the applicable project requirements.

An active ALUVIA Care Basic, Basic Plus, or Premium maintenance contract is mandatory. For an upgrade to an existing installation, ALUVIA shall provide a free initial on-site assessment before final system selection.

BOQ scope

5Control, monitoring, alarms, and sampling provisions
6Testing, operator instruction, handover documents, and performance verification
7Mandatory ALUVIA Care maintenance contract

Regulatory basis

How to write the requirement.

Reference the applicable project discharge requirements and verification methods. RS 110:2022 addresses requirements for discharged domestic wastewater; REMA guidance links the treatment objective to the receiving environment and applicable approvals. Do not substitute online sensor data for the required laboratory tests.
